Morton N. Kerr

Morton Kerr started his career with Markeim-Chalmers, Inc. in 1955 and worked closely with the original founders J. William Markeim and William Chalmers. In 1965, Morton took the reins as the president upon the retirement of both founders and is still a Board Member at Markeim-Chalmers.

During his 50+ years in commercial real estate, Morton has held many positions, including Past President of Camden County Real Estate Board (1968), Past Commissioner of the Camden County Board of Taxation (1971-1977), Past Trustee of the West Jersey Health Systems (Virtua Health) and Past Trustee of Y.M.C.A.  Morton was also a founding Board Member of the former Commerce Bank.
